St Nicholas' church > Link as we see it today dates mainly from the 14th century. It was built from local carstone and adjoins a complex of barns > Link converted into business premises, one of which bears the inscription '1671 July 31st'. The church has its original C14 font > Link and the painted rood screen panels > Link date from the 15th century. An old, elaborately carved parish chest > Link - believed to date from the 14th century - can be against the chancel wall. Besides one carved poppyhead depicting a bearded man with his tongue out all furnishing and fittings date from a Victorian restoration, and the stained glass > Link in the south aisle was installed in the 20th century.
