taken 8 years ago, near to Borrowby, North Yorkshire, Great Britain

Cod Beck
Cod Beck
Cod Beck drains a small area along the west side of the Hambleton Hills around Osmotherley before turning south through the Vale of Mowbray to Thirsk and a confluence with the Swale below Topcliffe. This shallow beck can become a raging torrent after heavy rain or rapid snow melt over the hills, causing flooding in the centre of Thirsk.
