SN1432 : Semicircular enclosure

taken 8 years ago, near to Mynachlog-Ddu, Pembrokeshire/Sir Benfro, Great Britain

Semicircular enclosure
Semicircular enclosure
A small dry-stone wall appendage to a large rock outcrop LinkExternal link . I'm not quite sure what its purpose is or might have been: Below the rocks would be an unlikely location for a sheepfold as one would have to be prepared for fatalities due to falling rock. On the other hand, the wall isn't high enough to be a credible modern health-and-safety measure to protect stray walkers from falling rock.
