Toddington Station - coaling a 9F
Toddington Station - coaling a 9F
The 9F was a standard design of heavy freight loco with 2-10-0 wheel arrangement and despite its small drivers was capable of unfeasibly high speeds. This being coaled outside the depot at Toddington. The very last steam loco built for BR - Evening Star - was a 9F.
