Disused Granton Gas Holding Tank
Disused Granton Gas Holding Tank
The frame, approximately 50 feet high, and empty and deflated expanding gasometer of the defunct Granton Gas Works has been retained as an item of industrial archeology.
The photograph was taken from formerly very private and unsightly gas board grounds which have recently been reclaimed and planted making a most attractive public park with ponds attracting waterfowl and presently nesting swans.
