SS8487 : End of a high tension line

taken 7 years ago, near to Llangynwyd, Bridgend/Pen-y-Bont ar Ogwr, Great Britain

End of a high tension line
End of a high tension line
These are not live wires driven into the ground they are mooring cables. This power line is disused and seems to be being dismantled in stages. The mooring cables are pulling the pylon in the original direction of the dismantled stage to simulate the weight of the missing power cables.
