taken 8 years ago, near to Burgh Castle, Norfolk, Great Britain

The Old Eastuary
The Old Eastuary
The massive estuary from Great Yarmouth (which was a sand bank) to Beccles and Bungay was sited here, drained by the many wind pumps, now done electrically. Seen from Burgh Castle which guarded the settlements in the area from attacks from settlers in what is now Northern Germany.
