I love the unexpected things you sometimes come across out on walks.
This larger than life sculpture of Eric and Ernie is just here standing in a field beside the A4
There is a notice beside them which says:-
"This fibreglass sculpture was commissioned for the British Genius exhibition in Battersea in 1977. The artist, Nick Munro, was then invited to include it in a major sculpture exhibition in Regents Park. After residents had petitioned for its removal as being "too vulgar" it was shown in Sheffield.
It was given to Parnham by the artist in 1980"
"Other well known works by Nick Munro include "Six Max Walls" "Two Grand Pianos" "Morris Dancers" and "The Waiters Race"
