St Peter's church > Link is situated beside the main thoroughfare, Eaton Street > Link. It was built in Norman times if not earlier, with its tower added in the 14th century and the addition of a south aisle in the 19th century. The rood screen was removed during the Reformation, the stairs to the rood loft were blocked and St Andrew's chapel became disused and disappeared. The church contains its original C15 baptismal font > Link and medieval glass can be seen in the upper lights of some of the windows. The stained glass windows > Link - made by Lavers & Westlake - were installed in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
