Victorian fountain, Church Green
Victorian fountain, Church Green
The fountain wasn't in operation the day the photograph was taken. Nevertheless it is an attractive piece of art, and is made of cast-iron. It was manufactured by the Coalbrookdale Company in 1883, and stands 4 metres (12 feet) high. Originally it was coloured, but today it is plain white.
