SO2536 : Crossing a Monnow stream

taken 8 years ago, 3 km from Craswall, Herefordshire, Great Britain

Crossing a Monnow stream
Crossing a Monnow stream
This stream falls from the steep north-eastern slopes of the Black Mountain ridge and is already quite large here where the bridleway, former drove road, crosses it. It becomes part of the River Monnow. A fellow Geographer stops to check the map, knowing he will be in the picture. His wife just keeps on walking.
