Charles Read Grammar School in summer
Charles Read Grammar School in summer
This is the same building as SK9924 : Charles Read Grammar School photographed at the other end of the year. The roses are in full bloom, and the front door is open because there is an exhibition in progress.

The building houses the village lending library, largely reference volumes, and the Willoughby Memorial gallery which opened in 1965. It is run by a trust founded by the Earl of Ancaster in memory of his son who was drowned in the Mediterranean.
