Fornham Road empty during football match
Fornham Road empty during football match
Viewed from underneath the A14 road bridge, and looking towards the railway bridge, the road is almost empty during an England world cup football match.

It is not clear why the bridge was built so wide - with houses both sides for most of its length surely there was no prospect of the road been widened to match?

Also strangely, in the undergrowth of the junction here, there is a solo tank trap.
