Porth Mawr gate house Crickhowell
Porth Mawr gate house Crickhowell
Located alongside the A40 is a stone-built two-storey crenellated gate house, dating from c1500, with 19th century restorations. It was part of a mansion (Cwrt-y-carw) built in the late 15th century by a member of the Herbert family. The mansion no longer exists, but its coach house has been restored. LinkExternal link
