Stockton Stone - Glacial Erratic
Stockton Stone - Glacial Erratic
I actually pass this stone almost every day but have only ever taken one picture, being rather useless. TM3894 : The Stockton Stone. I stopped again and took some better shots. It is not known if it is ancient or not, another glacial erratic like the example at Merton TL8999 : The Merton Stone. The oblong piece of sandstone was placed nearby by ice, during the last ice age.
