Former mineral railway line at Woolsthorpe
Former mineral railway line at Woolsthorpe
This was once the trackbed of a mineral railway, connecting with the line from Nottingham to Grantham, which carried iron ore excavated in the Denton and Harlaxton areas. It now forms an attractive path, part of the Viking Way and Route 15 of the National Cycle Network.
