Southsea hover terminal - arrival

If you've not been close to the beaching and turn tail of a Hovercraft let me tell you it's quite the experience. Firstly, it's very l o u d. It's a thrill though to see it come in at a fair speed and disgorge a few passengers, turn on a dime practically and be off out into the Solent again just a minute or two later.
In early September 2005 I was sitting on the beach near Clarence Pier in Southsea and was able to take three pictures of the event - arrival - on the turn [1957662] - departure [1957663].
