St Margaret de Westwick, Norwich
St Margaret de Westwick, Norwich
The church of St Margaret de Westwick was closed in 1975, and the furnishings dispersed to other churches. The building is currently used as an exhibition space > LinkExternal link. The east window > LinkExternal link was installed in 1967. It was designed in an expressionist style by Michael King of G King & Sons. In the west window there is a pendant > LinkExternal link which was constructed in 2007 as part of a workshop on papermaking. Each visitor used a variety of materials including food colouring, plant leaves and textiles. Chris Johnson joined the segments together using plywood tracery, forming a rose window.
