Minninglow burial cairn
Minninglow burial cairn
Now accessible from a concessionary path the summit of Minninglow contains at least three large limestone slabs resting on little blocks of rock which could be very old burial chambers. As you walk to the summit you walk across limestone but as you approach the summit the rock becomes fine gritstone.
