Kedington St Peter & St Paul's Church
Roman remains and a Saxon cross have been discovered, and it was here too the Normans built their church. The Victorians largely left the later mediaeval church alone. On the east face of the 14th c. tower the old roofline can be clearly seen, indicating that the nave roof has been renewed. Monuments to the Barnardiston family are spectacular. Stone and marble life size effigies are scattered liberally throughout the nave and chancel. Wall monuments with heraldic devices stretch from floor to ceiling.
