Railway trackbed crossing footpath
Railway trackbed crossing footpath
The dismantled short track which ran from the railway station to the quay here turns into a footpath, crossing another leading alongside the sea wall to the east. This section was opened in 1860, three years after the railway arrived in the town.
The Wells to Wymondham Branch Line
The branch line was one of the longest lines in East Anglia, running from Wymondham Abbey to Wells next the Sea, through four major Norfolk towns.
