Bee bank, West End Common
Bee bank, West End Common
A semi-circular bee bank near the Bisley Range fence. Created by stripping the surface and piling the turves earth side up to form a south facing bank for rare ground nesting hymenoptera. The heather will re-colonise the stripped area to form a good breeding patch for Silver Studded Blue butterflies.
