Calder Aqueduct, Lancaster Canal
Calder Aqueduct, Lancaster Canal
Despite the trickle of water flowing over the weir, the water level between the weir and the aqueduct is above the arch, due to debris that is partially blocking the flow. Apparently, this debris is cleared occasionally by the Environment Agency.
