The memorial on the right is one of two framing the gateway. This one has the commemoration: 'This monument was erected in memory of all ranks of the Royal Regiment of Artillery and of the 127 AAA Gun Bn United States Army who served in the Dover area. To honour those who lived and died in the cause of freedom. 1939-1946'. The memorial was dedicated 15 Aug 1986.
