Head of Loch Beag
Head of Loch Beag
Viewed looking north east from the top of the steep hillside just below the ruin of Dn Garsin. The Amar River makes its way through salt marsh into the loch. The crag to the right is Creag Mhr. The roads on either side of the loch are a loop around the loch at the top of which is the community of Totardor. Some time ago, a bridge was built to shorten the loop. Today, a newer bridge exists which shortens the loop much further.See NG3538 : Loch Beag from Dùn Garsin.
