Christ Church
Christ Church
This fine church stands on the site of an earlier 12th century church which was rebuilt in the Early English style by Gane & Co of Trowbridge in 1863. It has an attractive and distinctive chequered pattern of stonework using ashlar and knapped flint. The spire is topped by a golden cockerel weather vane SU1167 : Golden cockerel, Christ Church.
