Bridge at Bladnoch
Bridge at Bladnoch
This bridge which is still intact hence the height sign used to carry the Wigtownshire Railway over the River Bladnoch. Several pillars of the bridge can still be seen in the river, the rest of it long gone. The bridge now spans a cycle track which runs from the B7005 past the Bladnoch Bridge Estate and onwards to the Baldoon Airfield. It is barely visible in summer when covered in greenery, but makes up one of the many pleasant sights to be seen on this Machars Cycle Route.
