SX8296 : Oldridge church

Oldridge church
Oldridge church
Built in the 1840's, this little church is in a small field beside Oldridge Farm. "Unpretentious but serious" (Cherry and Pevsner), as befits a building designed by a leader of the Oxford Movement, John Medley, who was appointed a bishop and sent to America. Is it a church, or is it a chapel? LinkExternal link
