SN0135 : Blaen-waun farmhouse

taken 8 years ago, near to Pontfaen, Pembrokeshire/Sir Benfro, Great Britain

Blaen-waun farmhouse
Blaen-waun farmhouse
The shell of a simple stonebuilt house with brick lintels. Below the chimney on the right can be seen the remnant of an C20 fireplace so it is likely that there would have been a simne fawr on the left. A single elder tree is growing up from the centre of the ruin.
Close examination of the facing stones suggests that the place was formerly painted pink.
