Hawthorn
This topiary work of a horse was created by Hugh Patterson who manages stables nearby called Barn Park. He came up with the idea 3 years ago when he saw the three ash trees (just left of the horses nose) and noticed that they looked like the Loch Ness Monster when fully in green, so decided to try his hand at creating an image of a horse from an old hawthorn bush. The view in the background is Wigtown Bay.
