Holbrooke Bridge, Grand Western Canal
Holbrooke Bridge, Grand Western Canal
The Grand Western Canal was planned as a link between the Bristol and English canals but was never completed and was rapidly superseded by the railways. It runs for 18.25km (11.34 miles) between Tiverton and Taunton and is managed by Devon County Council as a country park. This bridge stands just NE of Sampford Peverell.
