Given that the Welsh pioneered cremation in modern Britain (Dr William Price, Llantrisant, 1884), building of crematoria was slow - this one in Aberystwyth was the first in mid-Wales and only opened in 1994. It's a lovely location on the hillside above Cwm Cynfelin and Llangorwen. Looking NW.
