SO5577 : Clee Hill Tramway

taken 12 years ago, near to Bitterley, Shropshire, Great Britain

Clee Hill Tramway.
Clee Hill Tramway.
Bridge buttress on the mineral line between Ludlow and the Dhustone quarries on Clee Hill. I can just remember the tracks being lifted. The railway ran to Bitterley where the hard work of climbing/descending the hill was done on an inclined plane.
