Rimmington's chemist shop, near the corner of Market Street, has retained its old facade.
The business has a long history - Felix Marsh Rimmington was in business as a Chemist in 1853 at 6 Ivegate (thanks to Alan Longbottom for that information), and appears in the 1851 census as an "Operative Chemist and Druggist" living at 24 Eastgate (Census reference HO107/2306 Folio 9).
