Croft buildings
This croft is unnamed on any of the maps, including the 1874 six-inch map, which describes the area as Wester Lochs. Today it is usually known as Muir of Lochs. This view is taken from the route of the railway which ran along here from the 1880s until the swingeing railway cuts of the 1960s, so this cottage would have seen the rise and fall of the railway, and comfortably outlived it.
