Caddon Water
Caddon Water
The glen of the Caddon Water turns to the east just south of Caddonhead farm. There are still remnants of woodland here, including juniper. A managed grouse moor, there is also some improved sheep grazing supporting a large population of upland breeding waders, especially Whaups (Curlew, Numenius arquata) and Oystercatchers (Haematopus ostralegus).
