Burnswark Hill
Burnswark Hill
The prominent Annandale landmark Burnswark Hill rises to just over 900 feet, 4 miles SE of Lockerbie. On its twin summits are the remains of an Iron Age fort dating from 600BC, with the impressive ramparts of later 2nd century AD Roman forts immediately to the north & south.
