The wind gauge was spinning rapidly but as Bob Dylan mused you don't need a weather man (station) to tell you that the wind blows especially when you are on the fells. The station was well fenced off to prevent it escaping. Welcome cool breezy weather after the oppressive heat (and flies) of early July. Lamk Rigg in the distance.
