NT6430 : Motorists, hoot your horn!
near to Rutherford, Scottish Borders, Great Britain

Motorists, hoot your horn!
This white owl with the eyes forming part of the word HOOT, has been painted on the west wall of a former railway bridge at a bend on a minor road near Rutherford Farm. It certainly does the trick, as the eye is drawn to the owl and a blast of the car horn can warn oncoming motorists at this blind corner. For a view of the bridge, see NT6430 : A former railway bridge at Rutherford.
