Earthquake House, Comrie
Earthquake House, Comrie
Comrie lies close to the Highland Boundary Fault, and suffers from occasional tremors, giving rise to the title 'The Shaky Toon'. This small building originally housed a 'seismoscope', but now has a modern seismograph and records earthquakes occurring all over the world, not just locally.
