Bracken covered rampart of the Iron Age hillfort, which was surveyed by Slater and Pearson and their findings published in 1985. The hillfort has a circular rampart and ditch - now much reduced by ploughing - containing about two hectares. A small community lived here circa 200BC or perhaps earlier.
