Glanrhyd Railway Bridge near Llangadog
This modern looking bridge on the Heart of Wales line is the replacement for a bridge that collapsed in October 1987. The river Towy (pictured) had flooded and swollen to such a degree that it compromised one of the piers. It was so deep that the passengers and driver of a train that fell drowned where this angler is now standing only knee deep in water.
