Blaen-waun: Cotoneaster-covered ruin
Blaen-waun: Cotoneaster-covered ruin
Blaen-waun (top or edge of the meadow or moor) is an upland farm dwelling that has been abandoned for perhaps 100 years owing to its remote, exposed position and poor land. A Cotoneaster bush, a garden shrub, remains, and has moulded itself around the sheltered part of the ruin.
