SD3117 : South of the pier at Southport
near to Southport, Sefton, Great Britain

South of the pier at Southport
A small, stabilised mound with razor shells strewn across its seaward edge. The view is diagonally north west across the square across the Southport sands and the Ribble estuary towards Blackpool.
It's easy enough to get out to this point (if a bit muddy in places) but it's obviously less popular than the focal point of Southport Pier further north and the Birkdale dunes to the South. A good spot to sit and have a cuppa all the same ;)
