The Queen Mother's Memorial Garden, Royal Botanic Garden
This beautiful garden was opened by the Queen on the seventh of July 2006 as Scotland's memorial to the Queen Mother. The vista in my photo is looking through the entrance towards the pavilion which has a truly striking interior made up of shells lining the walls and pine cones lining the ceiling. At the garden's centre is a formal maze surrounded by more informal planting from various parts of the world which the Queen Mother visited throughout her life.
