Old church
Old church
This building on Ballochney Road is an old church building which was known locally as Whiterigg Chapel. When it was superseded in the late 1950s by a new church in Plains (St David's) the building was acquired by a contracting firm. The neighbouring chapel house was renovated and used as the family home and the old church (here undergoing roof restoration work) has been converted into a garage for the family business.
