Pillbox at Llanychaer
This WW2 defence structure (a 1940 type-26 pillbox) remains just outside the small village of Llanychaer. It was one of two put in place to protect the munitions depot at Trecwn. There were concerns about the possibility of a German attack on the mainland via southern Ireland.
