The Craven Way
The Craven Way
This stretch of the ancient road is relatively unmarked by traffic. Recent legislation makes it a road traffic offence to drive unauthorised motorised vehicles on a track which is not specifically designated a "Byway Open To All Traffic". Most will be in the new category of "Restricted Byway".

Looking towards Dent with the lakeland fells on the distant horizon. Middleton Fell forms the nearer, left-hand skyline.
