SH6851 : Scattered rocks at the northern spur of yr Arddu

Scattered rocks at the northern spur of yr Arddu
Scattered rocks at the northern spur of yr Arddu
Yr Arddu and Ysgafell Wen make up a northeastern appendage of the Moelwynion. The ridge is fairly rocky, and even the grassy lower slopes have many rocks and boulders scattered over them. Snowdon and Crib Goch form a magnificent backdrop.
The ridge runs SW to E through the square, which is mostly open moorland; only the SE corner is farmed more intensively.
