taken 12 years ago, 3 km from Tarvie, Highland, Great Britain

River Conon
River Conon
A big river, heavily used for electricity generation, its now even larger as water is tunnelled across watersheds from Loch Fannich and Glascarnoch. The river here drains Strathconon and through Loch Luichart, Strath Bran most of the Fannaich range and the Dirrie More. It is still an important salmon fishing river.
